First acknowledged Jesus 30years ago. Said sinner's prayer, but didn't focus much on the sinner part. Events in life unbearable thus reason turned to God. Jesus has gradually (still is) shown me how much I need Him and the meaning of being a 'christian'. I feel I have only used God to supply my needs and to make me happy. Desperately want to totally surrender my whole life to Him, to deny self, pick up my cross and follow Him. That is the reason I want to join this site, as I feel Jesus and the christian walk is presented in terms which are true to His word.
