Your Perfect Will

Less of me, and more of thee

That was my prayer every day

I was but blind, for now I see

Your perfect will is the only way

I was lost in a fallen world

Blaming a God, I did not even believe in

I was fallen in a lost world

Drowning in my sin

The world will lie

Telling you all that you want to hear

But God's light will shine

And in your life refine

Those lies that you still hold dear

I want to know your will, your perfect will for me

I pray for grace and seek your face

But your perfect will escapes me

My debt was paid, paid in full

Salvation came for me

I now look to the cross from whence came your will

Way back on Calvary

I thank you Lord, my blessed redeemer

Your grace is sufficient for me

And now I know, for your perfect will

It is none of me Lord and all of thee
