Within NAR dominionism there are people who skirt along the edges, cognizant possibly of how unbiblical the theology really is. Then there are the rabid dogs of dominionism, who do not hold back in their hatred and disdain for their political enemies and unleash the judgment of God upon them to make their points. Mario Murillo is one of these dogs. Murillo is unashamed at the vileness of his own positions. For example, in the run up to the election he wrote for Charisma News that anyone who voted for any Democratic candidate is going to hell. Not that they were merely wrong or misguided but that they were in fact the enemy now of all Christians. That they are beyond redemption. He wrote recently that Christians should not even befriend a Democratic voter or "play nice" with them. He also sells a clear political idolatry and the worship of Donald Trump. In August of 2024, he literally compared Trump directly to Christ at the crucifixion. In order to accomplish this, he does the same spiritual gymnastics that the rest of the NAR does when it comes to the idol they worship. Being a convicted rapist with 34 other felony convictions? Yeah, that apparently does not matter to a holy God. Cheating on his first wife with his second wife and his third wife with a porn star? Apparently also not a problem for Mario. You must understand that we are not speaking about political distinctions as none are righteous when dealing with something so clearly carnal to begin with. The issue is that Mario presents Trump and his political preferences as somehow BEING a Christian imperative. By refusing to acknowledge his political opinion, you are deemed as not even being saved. You are deemed the enemy of Almighty God. Imagine that the Creator of the free world would deny you eternal life if you did not vote for the guy who believes he is allowed to grab women by their genitals simply because he is famous. You may reflexively want to compare these choices to the perceived other side but no one is making the argument that the other side is God's side either. It is perfectly fine to conclude that Trump or any party is the better choice politically. It is when you try to confer righteousness to your choice and God's favor that you become a heretic. So, as we enter 2025, Murillo is laying markers down to try and press his position as Trump cheerleader and defender of everything Republican. In Jesus' name, wink wink. Let us reason once more beloved through the above linked article.

Yes, there are many lunatics and biblically illiterate people who conclude that Trump's election was a reprieve from the Lord. Let us also be abundantly clear. This is not a prophetic word. It is a political word. Prophetic infers that God spoke to Mario and that never happened. God gave us His revelation in scripture. He did not forget some secret hidden direction that He was waiting for thousands of years for Donald Trump and Mario Murillo to come along so He could reveal it. Just consider the sheer lunacy of this fake prophecy. The church must become a voice for righteousness after insisting to elect a convicted rapist with three wives and a porn star. Donald Trump with his six bankruptcies and stolen nuclear secrets is the righteousness that God intended? The entire premise is so biblically ludicrous, I do not understand how Murillo does not burst out laughing while speaking it. Notice the seven mountains, NAR nonsense sprinkled in. That America has to fulfill its God-given destiny by engaging in a cultural battle. This is the heart of NAR, dominionist heresy. That we must conquer the seven cultural mountains to facilitate the second coming of Christ. You know, because Jesus is nothing without us. We are so special. Let's check out his five keys, which if I had to guess are going to be more Republican politics and hating anyone who disagrees.

"Expose and resist evil. "We can no longer remain silent about the evil being unleashed by the Left," Murillo declares. He specifically calls out the radical agenda of sexual immorality, abortion and attacks on religious liberty. Scripture reminds us, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them" (Eph. 5:11, NKJV). Christians must stand unapologetically for truth, even when it's uncomfortable." - Charisma News

Notice the con he runs. Evil in the eyes of Mario Murillo is only emanating from the left, or the Democratic Party in this country. Anything from his side of the political spectrum is deemed righteous by default. Yet we have seen this week some from Mario's party say that the victims of the devastating fires in California should receive no help from the federal government. Is that not evil? Are the proposed cuts to SNAP that will literally starve children in order to pass a massive tax cut for billionaires not inherently evil? Sexual immorality? Like who? Robert Morris? Mike Bickle? Ravi Zacharias? Dr. Michael Brown? Abortion? The rate of abortion has INCREASED since Roe was overturned so, good job. The cultural nonsense that Murillo clutches his pearls about, like bakers being expected to bake cakes, is not "religious persecution." It is whiny, religious elitism and self-victimization. Christians must stand apologetically for the truth? When he idolizes and demands support for a man who lied over 30,000 times in his first administration? Who casually lied that our Haitian brothers and sisters were eating pets? All of this hypocrisy is not lost on those in the world, and it is the number one reason why 40 million people have left the church in the last 25 years.

"Prepare for spiritual warfare. According to Murillo, the church must embrace its role in spiritual warfare. "The battle is not just political; it is deeply spiritual. Satan's agenda is to destroy the family, the church and the nation." As Paul writes, "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds" (2 Cor. 10:4, MEV). This is hysterical. So, the battle is spiritual, but Mario's solutions are all entirely carnal in nature. Satan's agenda is being fully aided and abetted by Mario Murillo. When Mario declares half of the people in the church are all going to hell because of how they vote, that is Satan's agenda. When Mario deifies and demands fealty and worship of a man so depraved that he cannot operate charities in NY anymore due to cheating other charities, including ones that help kids with cancer, that is Satan's agenda. The reality is Mario knows what he openly teaches and advocates for is so purely carnal that he must constantly try and apply a patina of Christianese over it and Jesus-fy everything. All he makes are political arguments and all of his solutions are political. So, of course, he has to now try and pretend, no no - it's all spiritual. The apostate church he serves is already accomplishing the purposes of the enemy.

"A revival of bold preaching. Murillo issues a call for pastors to return to bold, biblical preaching. "We need men and women in the pulpit who will preach the Word without compromise. The days of seeker-friendly sermons must end." Allow me to translate the NAR code-speak Mario is engaging in here. "Bold preaching" to Mario Murillo means preaching things other than the gospel of Jesus Christ. It means preaching to the cultural battles the Republican Party and the NAR constantly wage. It means speaking to carnal politics, despite the legal prohibitions against such. Mario envisions a church that is enamored with the world. A church that is not only turning its tent toward Sodom but is wholly immersed in it, like Lot before him. What he cannot see, because he does not have the indwelt Holy Spirit to lead him into all truth, is that what he engages in IS compromise. I am always leery when someone uses half a verse and it often is because the context destroys their talking points, so I included the context in the key verses today. Why was Isaiah saying to lift your voice like a trumpet? Murillo wanted to leverage that to say that pastors should preach politics but is that supported by the text? Not in a million years. God is instructing Isaiah to not hold back in declaring to the people of God their transgressions - not those in the world! Note the rebuke here and apply it instead to the apostate dominionist church of Mario Murillo. They seek God daily and delight to know His ways as if they did righteousness and did not forsake the judgment of God! Why have we humbled ourselves and yet God takes no notice of it? In the day of your fast, or your religiosity, you only seek your own pleasures and desires while oppressing your workers! Are you hearing what God is saying! When you say that people are going to hell for not voting for a man who has spent his entire life oppressing his workers, what do you think you are aligning with? Behold! Your religious pretense is solely designed to quarrel, fight and hit with a wicked fist! That perfectly describes Mario Murillo's angry, hateful theology. He has all the pretense and show of religion but it is only designed to hit other people with a cruel and wicked fist.

"Mobilize the church for action. Murillo stresses that this is not the time for Christians to retreat. "Every believer has a role to play, whether in prayer, activism or evangelism. This is our moment to take territory for the kingdom of God." He urges Christians to support candidates and policies that align with biblical values, reminding us that faith without works is dead (James 2:26)." - Charisma News

Just a brutal butchering of the bible here. Voting is not "works." Deciding your perceived lesser evil is somehow righteous is not "works." The notion of alignment with biblical values is pure NAR gibberish. Donald Trump's policies do not align with biblical values. It is easy to pick two wedge issues and ignore everything else. The number one topic in the bible after salvation is taking care of the least of these in society. Eviscerating food stamps, threatening older people on Social Security, protecting the rich - none of that aligns with biblical values. Also, what is always missing from NAR dominionists these days is personal accountability. The person you are supporting doesn't matter? Their character is somehow irrelevant? Raping someone suddenly is unimportant to God? Having 34 felony convictions? Two divorces, three infidelities, and a porn star on the side? None of it registers anymore? Let's be honest. If Satan himself were running as a Republican in 2028 and promised more "constitutionalist" judges, Mario would have a "Beelzebub 2028" sign on his front lawn. Notice that all of this alleged prophetic word from God is 100% supporting one political party. Regardless of who the candidates are. A month ago, this "Christian" choice for president nominated a man he knew trafficked a high school junior for sex and drugs across state and international lines. The "Sound of Freedom" crowd - supported it. The man he then nominated for the Secretary of Defense, which is in the chain for the release of nuclear weapons, is an infamous drunkard with a standing Non-Disclosure Agreement with a woman he sexually assaulted. None of this matters to Mario. It matters to God however.

Dear Lord. In the twisted heart of Mario Murillo, a word of encouragement for believers is that God is not done yet with our carnal nation. Yes, He is. Because God is no respecter of person, let alone nation. Our nation will be judged as every other nation will be. In another breathtaking butchering, these Joel verses have NOTHING to do with America. God is not pouring out His spirit upon America. By the way, the verse says all flesh - not just those that agree with you politically. Mario engages in a little Freudian projection here because what he advances is not a spiritual agenda but rather a political attack. This word is pathetic, not prophetic. The notion that the Creator of the entire universe is speaking through a man who routinely mangles His word in order to push an entirely carnal agenda is absurd. The only one bowing to culture here is Mario Murillo. It is just that he wants his vision of culture. The seven mountains heresy is entirely about influencing culture. This isn't truth beloved. It is propaganda designed by worldly political forces that recognize Mario is entirely too stupid to realize he is the useful idiot in this equation.

"The Bible calls us to be salt and light in the world (Matt. 5:13-16). We cannot afford to stay silent while darkness advances. This means speaking out against policies and ideologies that harm our nation and contradict God's Word. It also means discipling the next generation to carry the torch of faith and freedom. Murillo's prophetic word is both a challenge and a promise for the church in 2025. If we rise to the occasion, we can see America restored to its God-ordained purpose. Instead, let us heed the words of Joshua: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go" (Josh. 1:9). In the 1990s there was a pious, religious man in the House of Representatives that the church loved to exalt. He was one of the top three critics of Bill Clinton and his sexual foibles. He was screaming "character counts!" He was the lead Impeachment Manager who loved the cameras and his opportunities to excoriate the sinful president and champion the cause of Christianity. He was an Evangelical Christian that received perfect voting scores from the Christian Coalition. This man's name was Dennis Hastert and it turned out that he liked to molest little boys. Oops. I say this because there are a million Dennis Hasterts. Mario sells the notion that we only should focus on policies that someone promises they will support and not who they actually are. That is not being salt and light beloved. It is not being salt and light to show the world that we do not care about who the people are that we blindly support. Discipling the next generation to hold the same warped, unbiblical views is just making them twice the son of hell that you already are. Notice how he frames everything. His opponents, that he insists must be your opponents, are "darkness." They are evil by default, regardless of who they actually are or what they have done in their lives. By inferred contrast, his side are then the ones walking in the light. His side are the righteous. Unwavering commitment to biblical truth? Murillo has not handled one scripture correctly in this article. Just consider the audacity and wickedness he shows by declaring that God has given us a window of opportunity by allowing the reelection of such a thoroughly wicked man. This is not an endorsement of any other candidate either. We can all come to our own conclusions when it comes to who we might think is best for president but that is an entirely carnal assessment. There is no righteousness attached to it. We do not need to misappropriate Joshua 1:9 to try and convince people that our evil is actually good. This was no prophetic word beloved. Mario Murillo is a political operative trying to keep the apostate church motivated to worship his idol, Donald Trump. So, he sat down and wrote an article to support his utter carnality. Then he slapped a "prophetic" label on it to fool you into thinking this was from God. It wasn't. It is just from a self-righteous huckster punching people with the wicked fist of his black heart.
