Krick Butchers Messiah Prophecy, Weaver's Minister Killing Spirit & Reed's Retro-Prophecy
By Anthony Wade
Mining some of the worst heresy gems from Charisma News today...
::::::::
Sometimes, when trying to discern what to cover within a discernment ministry you come across multiple events that require coverage. In these instances, I lump them together into a conglomeration of heresy. A cornucopia of confusion, if you will. Charisma News provides a never-ending reservoir of apostasy and sometimes it builds up, like sewage in a clogged pipe. It is not surprising this is happening now as the false prophets and teachers are uniting in pretending God is showing them what 2025 will bring. While there is a general flavor of positivity since their American Idol has been reelected president it is always revealing that their claim essentially is that the Holy Spirit is schizophrenic in that He is giving them all different words. Just a cursory look at Charisma today shows J Lee Grady declaring that we have to keep fighting in 2025. Malachi Brown, who is the idiot who knighted Greg Locke an apostle, says no no J. Lee - we have to destroy the spirit of accusation in 2025. Abby Trivett says that 2025 will be the year God builds the house? I mean, I know Jesus was a carpenter but why has God been waiting for 2025 to start building the house? Troy Brewer says that 2025 will be a year of contrast while Jonathan "Con-Man" Cahn is calling for some kind of prophetic lightning strike? The Jedi Knight huckster, Benny Hinn says this is the year where our hearts must be properly adjusted, while the aforementioned fake apostle Locke just says that we need to unlock our best year ever, all of us. This is just in the past two days. It is always hilarious to think that the creator of the entire universe is stopping everything He does to speak to this gaggle of collective idiocy only to give them all different words. For today however, I want to drill down on three specific words from the past two days that Charisma platformed, for even more hilarity. Let us start with one of the silly demonslayers, Kathryn Krick, named appropriately because her theology is such a pain in the neck.
"As we continue to seek the Lord and what He has to say about 2025, it is clear that God is ready to do exceedingly, abundantly far more than we ever could have asked for or imagined. During a Five-Fold Church service, Kathryn Krick gave a prophetic word of what the Lord has placed on her heart for this coming year. "I'm very excited about this year. I'm more expectant than ever for what God is going to do this year with what He has revealed for 2025," Krick says. "It says in Luke 4:18[-19], 'The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.' 2025 is the year of the Lord's favor, the year of acceptance," she continues." - Charisma News
When you are a snake oil salesman without the indwelt Holy Spirit to guide you into all truth, it is easy to make these kinds of biblical mistakes. Kathryn Krick pretends she can cast demons out because it makes her easy money. It is a grift, pure and simple. She proudly posted a video where she refused to cast out a demon, allegedly in a child, until the mother sent her enough money through her phone. So, what is the problem here? Luke 4 is Jesus quoting Isaiah 61 first of all, and the punch line from Jesus is when He declared this prophecy is now fulfilled - through Him! You see, poor Kathryn is making a carnal connection that because the scripture says the acceptable "year" of the Lord, it must be talking about an actual year and thus she thinks she can casually connect it to 2025 and slap a "prophetic" tag on it. Voila! She thinks she can sound all pious and prophetic this way. The problem with this spiritual ignorance is that the acceptable year of the Lord is not an actual year as our finite minds comprehend. The acceptable year of the Lord is the time of grace, redemption and deliverance that was ushed in with Jesus, the Messiah. What is Krick teaching? That prior to 2025 we were not in the acceptable year of the Lord? That this is going to be the magical year? That God has been waiting all this time, for thousands of years, for 2025 and that His chosen vessel for delivering this extra-biblical message is a woman who thinks Christians can be demon possessed? Since these prophecies were fulfilled by Jesus in these scriptures, He has proclaimed liberty to the captives through the gospel. The spiritually blind have recovered their sight and the oppressed have been liberated from their sins. This has been happening every day since that day. 2025 offers no difference in these matters. The acceptable year of the Lord will continue until Jesus returns and when He does, Kathryn Krick will have some explaining to do.
"Krick discusses how when we give our lives to Jesus, we see the hand of God come upon us in supernatural ways, providing favor and protection in ways we would not have otherwise. "His miraculous power is constantly intervening in your life to bring about His will," says Krick. "To bring about His will that you would have abundant life, peace, joy, health, protection, so everyday that you are living when you are surrendered to God, serving God, His favor is coming upon your life." Having the Lord's favor as God's child, Krick says, is different, however, than experiencing the year of the Lord's favor. "When you give your life to Jesus, you have peace, you have joy, you have abundant life, but there are different seasons in this journey"there's wilderness seasons, refining fire seasons, process seasons, valley seasons and then there's mountaintop seasons. There's walls of Jericho coming down seasons. Promises being fulfilled seasons," she says. She points out that while the Lord's favor is experienced by God's children at all times, there is a moment for an appointed time of God's favor that radically changes everything. "This year of 2025 is the acceptable year of the Lord. It's the year of the Lord's favor for us in this revival," she says. Krick points out that the ministry has gone through the wilderness, dealt with challenges, but now is getting ready to experience God's favor unlike ever before. Revival is ready to break out in ways no one has seen yet. "We've seen little compared to what God has in store because this revival is for the whole body of Christ," she says. With only a few days into 2025, take the opportunity to pray, fast and seek the Lord's presence and guidance for what kinds of things he would like to do in your life this year." - Charisma News
Sigh. This is why so many people have their faith shipwrecked by charlatans like Krick. The supernatural act is salvation alone. The fact that we can be saved eternally is entirely a supernatural act of God. It provides no guarantee of carnal favor and protection - none. Ask the underground church in China or our Middle Eastern brothers and sisters who are beheaded for refusing to renounce Christ. The favor and protection are rooted in the fact that His kingdom is not of this world. The problem is Kathryn Krick loves this world and the sin and excess it allows. That is why she is trying to sell favor within it. If you are truly saved beloved, you already have received His favor. Jericho is not a season in your life. The bible is not about you. The fact that she is able to deceive as many people as she does is not "favor." It is judgment upon her and a biblically illiterate apostate church that wants their itching ears scratched. Prayer is always important but if you want to know what God would like to do in your life this year - read His word! Pick up your cross and deny yourself! Care about the people. Share the gospel. Take up the cause of the widow and orphan. Turn the other cheek. Stop following people like Kathryn Krick. While you are at it, stop following people like Jenny Weaver:
'How often do you pray for your pastor? In a recent video, Jenny Weaver shared a prophetic warning she has for those in ministry and the schemes of the devil the body of Christ needs to be praying against at this current time. "I want to talk to you about something I saw," Weaver says. "A minister killing spirit." "There's been something that has been unleashed"more so now than ever before in the history of the church. Something has been unleashed to specifically target, attack, kill off and take out ministers." Weaver says this attack is targeting ministries that are making great progress for the kingdom of God. "The enemy has ramped up attacks to take the players out of the game," she says. Weaver points out that it is the enemy's goal to see ministers go into bitterness and backslide so that he can take them out for the purpose of advancing the gospel. "We have ministers that are being attacked. We have people who are questioning, 'is it even worth it?'" - Charisma News
Let me explain how this works. While Kathryn Krick is a fledgling grifter, Jenny Weaver is a Grand Master level grifter. Her grifting puts people like Benny Hinn to shame. I have been saying for some time that her model of fleecing the flock will be emulated and copied for generations because of its deviousness and simplicity. What Jenny did is she created an illusion of belonging and community and then monetized it. She did this though in new and unconventional ways. In the past these hucksters would have to do live events, travel the country, and take love offerings to survive, then write books the generate the real money. The prior generation expanded on that. People like Jennifer LeCalire just created faux-Christian trainings you could enroll in though her website that she ran out of a PO Box at the Fort Lauderdale Airport Holiday Inn. Bethel is also a forerunner in this area as they routinely run fake conferences and inane trainings like "Becoming a Solutionary" through which they generate millions of dollars in revenue. The illusion of community Jenny created however she named "The Core." The core promises all of the "content" that Jenny creates and only costs twenty bucks a month, as a recurring charge on your credit card. Because it is so small an amount, it is less likely that people will feel it or ever cancel as long as they feel like they belong and are being promised heaven as an extra bonus. The last time Jenny bragged about the core she claimed 12,000 members. This was a few years back, so Lord only knows how many new suckers have signed up. At the 12,000 number, for 20 dollars per month, Jenny will pocket $240,000 dollars per month. That equals just under three million dollars per year, clean. For doing nothing. The content she creates is just a hodgepodge of Facebook live posts and memes. Things she would be doing anyway. Three million per year, just to start. She then adds on like her new fake supernatural school that sets you back another $1000 per track and amounts to one weekly meeting, 45 minutes in length. So, save me your pearl clutching Jenny - I am guessing this is worth it to you. Make no mistake beloved, this is all cover for Jenny, who does not like when she is called out for being a despicable thief leading people straight to hell. Her buddies are all despicable thieves as well. To be clear. God did not show her anything. If God did ever speak to Jenny Weaver, He would tell her to stop leading people to hell, preaching a false gospel, and fleecing His flock. The false minister killing spirit is known as the Holy Spirit. Weaver is buddies with people like Mike Signorelli and Greg Locke. Do you think the enemy wants them out of the game? Why would he since they are doing his work?
'One of the things Weaver points out as a necessity for the body of Christ is that each of us must look toward the cross. Each individual Christian must first look to Jesus, not expecting their pastor to be their savior, but rather being completely secure and confident in who God is and what He can do through them, for them and inside of them. She also advises that Christians stay planted and rooted in a ministry instead of constantly moving from one to another. "You can never learn from the trials and the fire that comes to purify, if when the fire gets turned up, you bounce out," Weaver says. While the trials and tribulations in 2024 were many, Weaver believes this can be a year for all of God's children to experience breakthrough. "As you go into 2025, go in the breakthrough anointing. Go in with everything that tried to kill you in 2024, it broke off of you now," says Weaver. "Everything that tried to hold you back breaks. He [the enemy] is defeated by blood of the Lamb."' - Charisma News
Let me break this down for you. People do hop from ministry to ministry, and this will become more prevalent as the culture moves to more virtual ministries, like Jenny's. The problem is that tithing and giving are far less likely within this paradigm. It is community that drives giving historically. That is why things like the Core are so successful. The problem is that if people do not stay long term, they are less likely to give each month, even the twenty bucks. It is about maximizing the fleecing. By the way, if you are bouncing out of Jenny Weaver's spell, keep bouncing. The problem is when you bounce from one charlatan to another. Now, the enemy is defeated by the blood of the Lamb but that does not mean that everything is magically broken off of you when the calendar turned to January 1, 2025. This kind of "onesie" prophecy that somehow fits everyone who is listening reveals how spiritually bankrupt the preacher is. There is no breakthrough anointing. Jenny is just making that up as she created this "minister killing spirit." The last story being highlighted today is from the disgraced Chris Reed. Normally, fallen, exposed preachers and prophets wait a little while before jumping back into the fray as "restored" but not Reed apparently. It was just a few months ago that he parted ways from the heretical Morningstar Ministries and though he tried to hide it, he eventually admitted to sexual misconduct from 2021. He of course referred to this as a "spiritual attack" instead of just saying he shouldn't have lured a student into this sexual misconduct by faking prophetic words. Undeterred and unashamed, Reed is being platformed regularly again by Charisma with his own fakery of prophecy, continuing.
"The resignation announcement of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sent shockwaves through political circles, but for others, it was a confirmation of what they had seen coming. Among them is Chris Reed, who posted a video following the announcement, asserting that the Lord had shown him Trudeau's departure months in advance. In his video, Reed referenced a dream from June 8, 2024, where he saw Trudeau's leadership come to an end. "Justin Trudeau, the Canadian prime minister, is ousted," Reed stated, adding that the vision came to him seven or eight months earlier. "I want us to pray for Justin Trudeau because I believe he is under the power of the globalist mindset. God wants to save Justin Trudeau." Reed's message was not one of condemnation but a call for intercession, urging fellow Christians to pray for Trudeau's salvation and revival in Canada's future." - Charisma News
Did you notice the spiritual jujitsu-sleight of hand Reed just tried there? This is essentially a "retro-prophecy." If this becomes accepted, it will revolutionize the false prophecy industrial complex. In the past, false prophets had to try and hedge their bets by offering vague prophecies with easy odds and extended time frames, or no specifics whatsoever. Like when Benny Hinn prophesied the death of Fidel Castro as being somewhere in the decade of the nineties. He still missed by 16 years. Or when David Taylor gave himself a 50-50 shot by prophesying the heavily favored Broncos were going to win the Super Bowl. They lost 44-8. Or when they say something like God is showing me something bad will happen, somewhere, eventually. What Reed is saying here is that you know that story about Trudeau resigning today? Yeah, God showed me that eight months ago! Trust me! He tries to distract with salvation prayers and other shiny objects so that everyone buries the lead that he is prophesying after the fact.
"For Reed, what is happening in Canada transcends mere politics; it is deeply spiritual. He spoke of a coming awakening, not just a political shift. "Pray for Canada because Canada, I believe, is also going to see an awakening happening," Reed said. He described his vision of Canada turning to God and experiencing a revival that would go beyond reformation or revolution to bring about a complete transformation. According to Reed, this spiritual revival is tied to God's plans for nations, including America. In his video, Reed drew connections between globalism and the prophetic warnings found in Scripture. He described globalism as a foundational element of what he called the "beast system," emphasizing that the one-world government's implementation relies on nations losing their sovereignty and national identity. "That's why they hate Trump so much," Reed stated. "He's standing in the way of the beast system." Reed argued that Trump's presidency represents a revival of national confidence, which serves as a barrier against the spread of globalist ideology. Leaders like Trudeau, he suggested, have facilitated the rise of globalism, making their political downfall significant in the spiritual battle for nations. Reed's message culminates in a call for Christians to engage in spiritual warfare through prayer. "I'm giving the intercessors content to pray for," he said, urging believers to intercede for Canada and America. Reed's vision of revival is not limited to political change but includes an outpouring of the Holy Spirit across nations. He emphasized the necessity of prayer to see these transformations take place. As Canada's political landscape shifts and spiritual implications unfold, Reed's prophetic insights remind believers of the importance of prayer and discernment in these critical times. For Christians, the need to stand firm in faith and intercede for awakening that transcends borders, bringing revival to Canada, America and beyond, has never been greater." - Charisma News
Let me see if I have this right. Donald Trump is standing in the way of the "beast system." The man who sells everything from $60 dollar bibles to pieces of the suit from his assassination attempt you think will stand against things like a one world economy where believers will have to take the mark or not be able to buy his gold sneakers and $100,000 watches. Donald Trump is the harbinger of the beast system. Reed declares the dire threat of countries losing their sovereignty and national identity during the same week when Trump has said he wants to invade Panama, buy Greenland and annex Canada as the 51st state. Oh, I guess sovereignty and national identity are only important to God when it relates to your country, got it. All this is beloved, is an extension of the NAR dominionist agenda that Reed has always embraced. It is just stunning that he thinks nothing of debasing himself and Christ mere months after it was revealed that he sexted and fondled the genitals of one of his students just a few years ago. Who cares? Get him back into the ring to generate those big bucks for the brand. Charisma has long been a cesspool of heresy, scattering people away from Jesus Christ by promoting and platforming the absolute worst hucksters and charlatans in the apostate church today. People like Chris Reed who thinks prophecy can be done after the fact. People like Jenny Weaver who whines about being attacked while raking million of dollars in from the poor deluded followers of her "Core grift." People like Kathryn Krick, who does not understand fundamental scriptural truths and thinks the acceptable year of the Lord means you are gonna get some stuff in 2025. Ugh.
Mark and avoid, and Happy New Year.
