Charisma News False Prophet Joey Z "Encourages" by Declaring - Your House is on Fire!
By Anthony Wade
Two more articles from Charisma today burying their readers in political propaganda...
::::::::
"A faithful, sensible servant is one to whom the master can give the responsibility of managing his other household servants and feeding them. If the master returns and finds that the servant has done a good job, there will be a reward. I tell you the truth, the master will put that servant in charge of all he owns. But what if the servant is evil and thinks, 'My master won't be back for a while,' and he begins beating the other servants, partying, and getting drunk? The master will return unannounced and unexpected, and he will cut the servant to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. - Matthew 24:45-51 (NLT)
Well, it seems that Charisma news is now scraping the bottom of the barrel to inundate its readers with political propaganda disguised as a Christian cause. The ulterior motive is simple. Steven Strang answers to the Republican Party, full stop. Dominionism and Charismania is where his bread gets buttered. His marching orders are very clear. He is trying to co-opt as many Christian votes as possible because without them, Donald Trump cannot get elected. We have seen Strang mobilize everyone from lunatics like Greg Locke and Mario Murillo, who say that anyone who votes Democratic is going to hell, to compromised pastors like Jack Hibbs who teaches that we will be judged on our voting record when we stand before Christ. Consider for a moment, the sheer stupidity of that position. Salvation is no longer based upon saving faith in Christ and His finished work on the cross. Instead, it will be based upon whether we voted for a man who was unfaithful with three different wives, the last time with a porn star, six bankruptcies, a convicted rapist with 34 other felony convictions. I cannot gauge Hibb's sincerity but if he really believes that then he is entirely too biblically moronic to have the platform that he does. The bottom scraping this week is listed in the two links above. I am grateful when Charisma herds them together like this to make it easier to expose them for the frauds they are. The first link is to a false prophet named Joey Z, yes you read that right. The second one is to a pastor no one has ever heard of named Gary Hamrick. They both essentially butcher the bible and/or falsify prophecy for the same message - vote Trump. God told me. Please. Let us reason once more together beloved, starting with Mr. Z.
"Joseph Z, a prophetic voice and founder of Joseph Z Ministries, recently appeared on "The Strang Report" podcast to discuss the upcoming election and its potential consequences.
Z describes 2024 as a "do-over year," referencing what he sees as unresolved tensions from the 2020 election. He claims that the church's response will play a crucial role in determining the country's direction." - Charisma News
I have visited Mr. Z's website and he still appears to be small time. He needs to take a masterclass in grifting from Jennifer LeClaire or Jenny Weaver. Nonetheless, he is trying to break through in the false prophet scene by beating the popular dominionist drum, so of course, Strang platformed him. He does so because Strang is trying to saturate the Christian media sphere with as much spiritual bullying as possible to get you to vote for his Savior - and it is not Jesus. By saying "founder"; Strang means Joey purchased the domain name from Go Daddy, slapped his name on some tee shirts he sells, and created a Joey Z app, so everyone can stay up to date on what he pretends to hear from God. The only unresolved tensions from the 2020 election are caused by people like Joey Z who insist on peddling conspiracy theories in the name of Christ. His guy lost by seven million votes. It was not close. He pursued over 60 cases and lost all of them. There is no doubt. No grey area. So, spare us the "do over" nonsense Joey.
'"The Lord is saying it's in the hands of the church," Z says, asserting that the outcome of the election hinges on whether the church actively engages in the political process. "If [the church] will show up, I think there'll be victory. If they don't, I think we're going to go into a very, very difficult season," he added.' - Charisma News
Uh-huh. The Lord is saying that? So, the future of our country and how it affects the entire world, which God created, is not in the hands of God? Beloved, this is the glaring hypocrisy and borderline blasphemy the apostate church traffics in every day. I know this much. God is in control, and He does not need any help from us or fake wannabe prophets like Joey Z. If the church shows up, you THINK there will be a victory? I thought you were a prophet dude? So, God told you it is in the hands of the church but would not say if there would be victory even if they do show up? This is not a very well thought out fake prophecy Joey. Notice the directly implied threat. Vote as I say, or face a very, very difficult season. Once again, just his "thinking", because for some reason, God only gave him a sentence fragment. We all remember when God spoke sentence fragments to Elijah or Isaiah and then they had to tell the people what they thought based on the incomplete information, right? Yeah, me neither.
"Z also expresses concern over what might happen if former President Donald Trump loses and the Left gains power. He warns that the country could be headed for a "socialist concentration camp style of governing." According to him, such a future could involve "digital prisons" and an increase in control by global entities. "They'll let people like the World Economic Forum run free" take away our medical sovereignty," he warns, referencing potential loss of freedoms in every corner of society." - Charisma News
Booga-booga! Be afraid! Be very afraid! This is all Charisma has left beloved. Selling you fear even though perfect love casts out all fear. Selling you dread even though He keeps us in perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding. Selling you anxiety about the future even though God always holds our future in His hands. They sell you this because it is all they have to sell. They cannot sell the policies and they cannot sell character. So, they must lie to you, try to scare you, and spiritually bully you. It also seems like Joey just looked up scary terms in some urban dictionary and just threw them against the wall. I am not even sure what socialist concentration camp governing would look like but despite the guy they are backing, a president is not a king, or queen. They cannot implement this kind of nonsense. He also does not seem to understand that the term digital prison relates to websites that expose the information of sex offenders, so I am unsure what he is trying to say here. Of course, he does not either. No one is taking away your medical sovereignty. This is just another smoke screen to co-opt your vote.
"Despite these concerns, Z says he believes there is still hope. He called on Christians to reject passivity, attributing inaction to years of "bad teaching, soft teaching." He criticizes church leadership for avoiding political engagement, referring to this mindset as the "Pretty pretty pony gospel culture." Z argues that believers must influence society and engage in political discourse. "We definitely need to be salt and light" because it's not just about the gospel. It's also preaching the kingdom and bringing influence into all these spheres," he says." - Charisma News
Wow. Not sure I have ever heard the gospel mocked as "pretty pretty pony." This influencing culture nonsense is straight up seven-mountains heresy. You want to influence culture? Preach that pretty pretty pony because that is the only way anyone gets saved according to Romans. This rhetoric is classic dominionist teaching. Passivity is NAR code-speak for not voting for republicans. Anyone with the temerity to push back on this blatant idolatry is considered to be the victim of bad or soft teaching. When Jesus spoke about being salt and light there is no way He was speaking about the carnal political systems of man. He was speaking about Christians behaving like they are supposed to, which by the way is not littered with hate, derision and fear. Note the worst line of all - it's not just about the gospel. That is all you should need to know to run as fast away from Joey Z and Charisma as possible. It is all about the gospel. This culture is dying and ruled by Satan and will be on November 6th, regardless of who is elected. Our job is to preach the gospel and show the love of Christ. That is preaching the kingdom, despite what this useless idiot says.
"He urges Christians to overcome their fears of being "canceled" or "hassled" for their political views. "Your house is on fire, and if your house is on fire"You've got to put it out," Z says, stressing the urgency of political engagement. If Christians in America have any chance of continuing to be an effective influence on culture and society, they must put more focus on unity and action: "We can push darkness back one more round" maintain a future for our children, at least for another few years," Z encourages." - Charisma News
That is encouraging? Your house is on fire? Maybe it might help for a few years? God told me one sentence fragment and I unloaded all my political talking points on top of it while claiming to be a prophet? Christ did not die on the cross so we can influence culture and society beloved. He died on the cross for our sins and to redeem us. He does not need Donald Trump or Kamala Harris to accomplish His will. He raises up all leaders. Our unity is found in the finished work of the cross, not the carnal pollical dreams of Steven Strang and Republican Party. Your opposing political party is not "darkness." That is spiritually insulting and biblically stupid. Your choice is not righteous, despite what some random guy named Joey Z might say. On to the second link:
"Leesburg, VA - In a sermon Sunday, Pastor Gary Hamrick of Cornerstone Chapel urged Christians to rise above political apathy and vote with unwavering adherence to biblical values. Addressing the congregation and live-stream audience, Pastor Hamrick sought to send a warning and a challenge beyond his northern Virginia church. Hamrick's annual election sermons, which attracts viewers worldwide and generate upwards of a million views online, reflect his influence within the Christian community." - Charisma News
I do not know who Hamrick is, but he clearly is a NAR dominionist. The influence Charisma claims he has is frightening if true. I think they included the statistics of watchers online because they recognize that no one has ever heard of Gary Hamrick. Notice that he starts much in the same way as Joey Z. Hamrick accuses Christians of being apathetic while Joey said passive, but the message is the same - vote as we say because you are a lazy Christian. The "unwavering" nonsense is the same tired old "biblical worldview" heresy that reduces God to two wedge issues and encourages Christian electoral myopia. Do not look for examples of what the candidate has done and will do to the least in society, which by the way is the number one topic in the bible after salvation. Do not look at what the candidate might do to further the destruction of God's creation. Do not look at if the candidate takes in the stranger or accuses them of eating pets. Certainly, do not look at their individual character and morals because the NAR is entirely transactional at this point. How is voting for the man who cheated on his third wife with a porn star adhering to biblical values? It is not. Now the counter argument will be this ridiculous policy over character debate but that is just stupid. Character reveals who the person is and how we can expect them to govern. What they promise is irrelevant because the vast majority of those promises never come to fruition because they are lying. Hamrick does not mind if we are lied to, and claims Christians need to base their vote upon those lies instead of who the person is and what they have done. That is the biblical insanity of the NAR.
"In the sermon, Hamrick highlighted statistics that show out of approximately 90 million Christians in the United States, 40 million are expected to stay home on Election Day, and 15 million are not even registered to vote. He attributes this apathy to a misplaced focus on candidates' personalities rather than their policies and principles. Furthermore, he pointed to a broader issue within the church: many churches have become silent on critical social and political issues, leaving their congregations without guidance on how to navigate these complex times. "The stakes are too high for us to ignore," Pastor Hamrick said. "Voting is not just a privilege; it's a duty. It's our responsibility to be good stewards of the freedom and values we've been entrusted with." He drew parallels to biblical stewardship, referencing the parable of the two servants to emphasize that just as the master entrusted his possessions to his servants, so too has God entrusted Christians with the privilege of living in a free country and participating in its governance." - Charisma News
At least Hamrick is honest that he literally does not care about how morally repulsive a candidate might be, as long as they promise him goodies and things, he thinks he wants. If Satan himself was running on the Republican ticket, Gary Hamrick would gush, hey, we are not electing a pastor in chief! The obviously disturbing thing here is the absolutely ignorant statement that we have a duty to vote, which is not supported by a single scripture. The famous preacher Charles Spurgeon once said that when presented with the choice of a lesser evil he will choose neither. Charisma knows this, which is why they keep trying to Christianize Trump. Oh, he is just like King Jehu! No wait, King Cyrus! No wait, he has a Deborah anointing! No wait, he has an Elijah mantle! It took less than one day for Charisma to platform an article asking if the second assassination attempt was prophesied. Please. Just stop because while you might dupe the apostate church, the lost see through the hypocrisies. Someone, who has no character, has no principles. Nowhere does the bible say we are to be good stewards of the freedom we have been given. The freedom in Christ is about sin, not cultural preferences. Perhaps the most grotesque thing here is the absolute destruction of the Parable of the Two Servants, which I have made the key verses for today. Hamrick's insane parallel is that Jesus Christ told this parable because He wanted us to vote for Donald Trump. The parable is not about carnal politics of course. The parable is highlighting that God has entrusted us with His word - the gospel. He did not charge his servants with voting but with taking care of people and feeding them. Consider how polar opposite those two things are. Yet, if we sit around and do nothing about the gospel entrusted to us than we are like the lazy wicked servant who thinks his master is not coming back anytime soon anyway. So, instead of preaching the gospel and caring about people in need, you instead focus on winning political elections. The word Jesus uses in this parable to describe such people is simple - evil.
"Hamrick condemned the cultural narrative that frames moral and social issues as purely political and criticized the trend of churches retreating from addressing these issues from the pulpit, which he believes contributes to widespread confusion and inaction among Christians. "Churches have gone silent on these crucial matters," he said. "It's time for pastors to step up and guide their flocks with biblical clarity and courage." Regarding the upcoming election, Pastor Hamrick addressed a range of critical concerns, including judicial appointments, the sanctity of life, support for Israel, biological sex, and religious freedom. He expressed disappointment over the lack of a truly pro-life candidate, noting that neither major candidate fully aligns with pro-life values. Nevertheless, he encouraged voters to evaluate candidates based on policies that align closest with their biblical beliefs, even if no candidate meets all criteria perfectly." - Charisma News
Hamrick is a devout NAR adherent. The holy desk of God should be sullied by demanding votes for Donald Trump, or any candidate. It should be reserved for the gospel. Voting will not save anyone. It is not "biblical clarity" to demand your sheep vote as you do. It is spiritual harassment. What is quite telling is that Hamrick insists that moral issues are crucial, just not as they apply to the actual people, he wants you to vote for. It is a disgusting hypocrisy. No candidate aligns with biblical beliefs. Hamrick knows this, so he hedges and says, "closest." What that is ultimately, is an argument of choosing the lesser evil. While that is perfectly fine, we should not be caught championing that evil, promoting that evil, and demanding others embrace that evil. Charisma concludes:
He also gave practical advice for those looking to engage in the political process. He urged church members to be registered, become election officers, and, most importantly, engage in prayer. "We need to pray for our candidates, our country, and trust in God's sovereignty," he said. He reminded his congregation of the importance of faith in the political process, asserting that no matter who occupies the White House, God remains on the throne. "Christians must rise above apathy and engage in the electoral process with a focus on their values. "Every election is crucial," he emphasized. "We cannot afford to sit this one out. Vote according to your values, and trust in the Lord's plan."' - Charisma News
This is just hysterical. So now, after demanding votes for one candidate, we want to leave it all to prayer. Right. This sleight of hand is so transparent. Trust in God's sovereignty? But you just spent the entire article saying how dire everything was and how bad and lazy pastors who refuse to preach carnality are. How the stakes were too high to ignore. So, trust in God's sovereignty but we cannot afford to sit this one out? Which is it? If God is always on the throne, then why is everything so dire? Why is it so crucial? How exactly is voting for someone who has no values, voting our values? If you truly "trusted the Lord's plan"; then you would stop fear mongering and insisting that pastors who do not agree with you are somehow fundamentally lazy or not leading their sheep. Hamrick lamented that if pastors do not preach politics, then they "leave their congregations without guidance." That is absurd. The bible is our guidance. The gospel is our guidance. If a preacher preaches the gospel, then he does not need to influence his sheep to vote for one person or the other because he truly trusts in God's sovereignty. Beloved, do not be bullied by Charisma News and there never-ending stream of pundits demanding your vote. When we stand before Christ, He will not be asking about who we voted for in the 2014 midterm elections or who was the lesser evil we concluded in the Governor's race in 2000. He is not going to want to hear how you railed against social issues or compromised the gospel for thirty pieces of political silver. He is not going to want to hear about who we hated in His name or spread vile Internet memes about eating pets that smear an entire group of people. He is however going to ask about who we gave food and drink to and the stranger we took in. We would do well to remember these things.
