Kris Vallotton - The Spiritual Cartographer and Solutionary Grift in Action
By Anthony Wade
Vallotton, the most spiritually vacuous is now grifting "spiritual intelligence"
::::::::
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. - John 10:10 (ESV)
I have to admit that I get a kick out of Kris Vallotton, false prophet/teacher at Bethel Church under the guidance of the master grifter, Bill Johnson. The amount of hubris Kris traffics in is just mind-blowing. It is bad enough the silly stories he tells about Jesus walking into his bathroom while he is taking a bath and how God audibly told him that he was a pauper who is now a king, the grift behind it all is breathtaking in its audacity. He fleeces the flock without care or concern how idiotic his new grift is. I guess you can afford this level of gall when your followers have already fallen for glory clouds, gold dust, gemstones and angel feathers. Below I will go through a recent solicitation, I mean email, I received from him. Besides the email we will visit the above link that has the grift so we can see this all-in context and action. Let us reason once more together!
"Imagine with me for a moment a soldier heading to the battlefield with no armor or weapon, dressed in street clothes, and no prior training for how to fight in battle. Don't you think we'd deem them unfit for the job and question their ability to protect our country and attain victory?
Sadly, I'd propose this is a similar scenario that we face in the Western Church today. We set out for battle unaware of the reality of the invisible war waging around us. We treat fictional characters like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny as if they are more real than Satan, demons, and principalities." - Kris Vallotton
Imagine with me for a moment a man trying to steal your money. A man with no shame in doing so. A man named Kris Vallotton. Kris does not understand the bible he pretends to read. If he did he would know that Jesus already secured the victory over death and the enemy. He would know that our training comes from reading the bible and that our weapons and gear are not of this world. He would know that we are called to resist the devil so he will flee, not turn him into a caricature.
"This thinking only sets us up for defeat before the battle has even begun. Now let me be clear, my goal here is not to ignite fear, but rather speak to the truth that through the redemptive power of the cross we are victorious. However, this truth doesn't remove the reality of the spiritual realm that impacts us on a daily basis. As weird as it may sound, these entities are vying for attention and affecting our daily lives, our relationships, our health, and our prosperity. Yet, unlike a physical battle, our unawareness lures us right into a strategic battle designed to steal from, kill, and destroy us. Our ignorance allows the demonic realm to be hidden within plain sight." - Kris Vallotton
So, to Vallotton, the cross has no temporal power in our lives. Stunning in its stupidity. God however is an ironic God and He enjoys when someone so opposed to Him makes a fool of themselves. The verse Kris references here is the key verse for today above. My question for us today is who is the thief referred to by Jesus? If you said the enemy, you too have been taught poorly. Read the entire chapter so you can see the context. Jesus is not talking about the devil. He is talking about Kris Vallotton. He is talking about the false teacher/prophet. The huckster who comes into the sheep pen by hopping the fence. While we are here, we need to address the charismaniacal belief that there is a demon behind every bush. There isn't. The boring truth is we are just not that interesting or important that the devil is actively plotting every second of the day how to thwart us. He doesn't need to because we refuse to read God's word, which would allow us to better see the schemes of the enemy and not fall for the seduction of sin. Kris however has set the stage by creating this fantasy world with invisible demons to battle against every day if only we were armed better!
"The truth is, in order to live a prosperous and successful life, we must become spiritual cryptographers who understand that we are in a real and present battle. We were not created to be ignorant to the plans and tactics of the enemy, rather we have been designed to be sanctified solutionaries dismantling the schemes of the enemy and promoting the Kingdom of heavenly ability." - Kris Vallotton
Welcome to the grift! We all remember the "spiritual cryptographer" section from the Sermon on the Mount, no? I think it was right after the Salt and Light piece. How about the Last Supper when Jesus charged His disciples with all becoming Solutionaries? Not that either? Once again, the way to not be ignorant to the schemes and plans of the devil is to read your bible! Not become these magical, ridiculous things that Kris Vallotton created in his wickedly deceitful heart to scam money out of you. How can we be sure? Because there are no solutionaries or spiritual cryptographers or even references to these terms, in the entire bible!
"The apostle Paul, one of the most spiritually intelligent people to ever grace the earth wrote, "You were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the sons of disobedience" (Ephesians 2:1-2). I know this may sound like science fiction, but this is real. The good news is that there are more angels who are for us than there are demons against us. God has assigned strong angelic allies to help us in life and in battle. The ability to distinguish or discern these spiritual entities and their angelic or demonic strategies is essential to the true success of every person on the planet." - Kris Vallotton
To say this sounds like science fiction is to insult science fiction. At least good science fiction is vaguely plausible. It is great that Kris uses scripture here, but it is not relevant to the topic or the new bunny trail about angels. He has however set up his premise for fleecing you. There is this invisible war waging that you are apparently in the middle of naked and ignorant. He wants to clothe you with gnostic knowledge of unknown origin and power that will allow you to become one of two titles found nowhere in scripture. Oh, and these absurdities apply to every human being on the planet. This way his pool of potential suckers is never ending.
"It is vital to understand that believers have been given gifts and authority over this unseen realm, to undermine and disarm the devious demonic agenda. You are a Kingdom force on the earth, equipped with the divine advantage of spiritual intelligence. In this week's blog, I share more about how to become a spiritual cryptographer and how to win the battle of the invisible realm. If we truly understood our advantages in the way we have been supernaturally equipped, think about the difference it would make in our lives and in the world around us. I want to challenge you to think about the situations that felt impossible before you read this email. How do you feel about them now after you consider the advantages you have as a Believer?" - Kris Vallotton
Does the bible say we are to disarm the enemy? No. Does it say we are a kingdom force on earth? No. Nevertheless, Kris Vallotton has assured you that you are indeed a Spiritual Superman and he is here to show you the kryptonite that has been holding you down! How much would you pay for this power? The above link is to Vallotton's own "Spiritual Intelligence Institute!" Never heard of spiritual intelligence? No one has! But Kris is going to hard sell you on it right now. The cost for the Solutionary Intensive is a mere $1195! The master grifter, Vallotton describes the problem as Christians who:
"Feel insecure in their giftings and don't challenge or train in the capacities God has graced them with
Have not learned how to identify how they receive information and revelation from God
Lack a prophetic culture in their church community
Are crippled by limited beliefs and live reactively from earth toward heaven, instead of living from heaven toward earth." - Kris Vallotton
Notice how Kris plays to your desires and emotions. Who wouldn't want to learn untapped capacities God has for them! Who wouldn't want to better identify when revelations from God Himself! Then he throws in some typical Bethel red meat by quoting Bill Johnson's heresy regarding heaven and earth. Kris promises you a deeper dimension of spiritual intelligence and how to build new neural pathways! It sure is getting deep in here. Perhaps best to close with their closing remark:
"We know what it feels like to be pinned in by the boundaries of religion yet yearn for what's beyond our limited human experiences. We understand what it's like to hunger for more of God but feel confused about how to get there." - Spiritual Institute Teaching Staff
Let me apply my spiritual intelligence gained from actually reading the bible. Vallotton and Bethel always yearn to not be "pinned in" by the boundaries of religion. The translation here means they do not like being confined to what the bible says. The bible are the boundaries and God gave them to us so we would not be taken in by hucksters like Vallotton who want $1200 for making you believe you are something that does not even exist. The "hunger for more of God" actually is the sin of Lucifer. The false teaching Bethel traffics in is very much usurping God. It is trying to cheapen God to the level man or pretending that we are something super-spiritual. Anyway, you slice it, it is trying to be God. And who doesn't want to be God for only $1200 bucks! Beloved, Kris Vallotton is the man who has hopped the fence into the sheep pen. He has come to steal kill and destroy all that the bible can give us. I am sorry that you are not a solutionary or even a spiritual cryptographer but at least I saved you some cash. Blessings.
