"And if we do choose to vote for him, a choice that the vast majority of conservatives will make, we must remember to keep our focus on Jesus and the gospel and to be sure that, to the extent Trump's character deficiencies are a negative example, we distance ourselves from those deficiencies while setting the bar high in our lives and our conduct. We can vote for him without becoming like him." - Dr. Michael Brown
No Michael, we can't. We could if all we were doing was voting but your boss is running 80% of his media empire as an extension of Trump's campaign. Guys you openly defend and exalt have said that if you do not vote for their choice then you are not Christian and going to hell. You have not gone to that extreme, but you have danced around it by declaring there is no way a Christian should vote for any Democratic candidate. You have not only perceived the lesser evil choice, but your arrogance prevents you from even considering you may not be right. You cannot accept that other Christians can read the word of God and think that impoverishing people and not taking care of widows and orphans is still pretty important to God. This is what is so frustrating about Dr. Brown. He spends the first half of an article correctly telling the truth and then the second half utterly dismissing it. To change an analogy I used recently, if the devil was running as a Republican in 2028, I am pretty sure Brown would pen an article declaring how bad the devil is for about half the page and then proceed to tell us how as long as we somehow do not become the devil we are dancing with, that it is still ok to vote for him. Be not deceived beloved. Pray, vote, but stop defending evil. Any evil.
