When you make your money by not hearing from God it is no wonder you can make such a disconnected statement as this. The Holy Spirit is God, just as Jesus Christ is. Therefore, church roles have already been assigned by the Holy Spirit. The problem is that Jennifer Leclaire does not like her role. It is deeper than that beloved. She wants someone else's role. What this boils down to on a sin level is covetousness. As outlined at the start it is rebellion.
Beloved there are things God has said and set up that I do not understand or may not even agree with. His ways are higher than mine. He knows best because He is God. People often argue that the law was somehow a bad thing. No it is not. Every single one of those 613 rules were for the best interest of the people. It was bad to be standing in judgment by the law. That was what Jesus came to deliver us from because no man could stand in the light of the law. There is a reason why covetousness for example is a sin. It leads to envy and jealously. It leads you to throw aside the clear teaching of Scripture. I do not pretend to understand every decision God has made. This one however he has even provided us with His thinking. Eve was deceived and not Adam. Eve became the transgressor. For this reason, God has decided that woman should not hold authority over man nor teach him. John Piper was right on this one. Jennifer Leclaire should stick to seafood spirits.
