'The preacher said the "whole thing is just ridiculous," but emblematic of a broader problem unfolding in the culture at large. "This is " really a representation of culture saying, 'We don't want God " we're gonna openly mock God now, we're gonna make new rules, we're gonna define what a man is, what a woman is, what marriage is, and I'm gonna change everything,'" Laurie said. So, we come to the standard NAR talking points. What is ridiculous is that Greg Laurie is considered a pastor when he clearly could not care less about the lost. The broader cultural problem is that the church is no longer functioning as God's vehicle for delivering the gospel. Instead, they have assumed the role of God, which is the original sin of Lucifer, to stand in judgment of the lost. Except it is not Judgment Day yet. The projection on display here is staggering. It is the church that does not want God. They instead want this culture warrior victimization club headed up by their favorite cult of personality, purpose driven pastors. The church has made up the new rules as the word no longer matters. The world? They have always played by rules that do not align with scripture. Is this new somehow? The chaos in the world is due mostly because the church no longer stands in the gap. It instead is a self-serving and self-dealing arm of the Republican Party in this country. They selectively show you a picture that is clearly not intended to be the Last Supper and they tell you to be outraged. Then they repeat that lie over and over again and when it dies down, they drag Greg Laurie out from the shadows to lie about it again. If that doesn't work, they show you a picture of a poor woman born with a genetic disorder, and they infer that she is trans when she is not. When they cannot sell that anymore they create memes insisting she is a man when she clearly is not. They do not care that she has boxed her entire life and used to sell scrap metal to afford a bus ride to a neighboring village so she could train. They never mention that all of the governing bodies, including the IBA allowed her to fight for almost a decade and that she has been defeated nine times. They repeat Russian disinformation about her apparent bogus disqualification that strangely benefitted a Russian boxer she had just defeated. Why tell you any of that? The big lie does not require facts, or research, or compassion. It just requires our blind stupidity. They just hold Ms. Khelif up and say, hate her. She is to blame for whatever angst they are selling. Or the drag queens from the opening ceremonies. Hate them. They are to blame for our victimhood. Never mind the big blue guy sitting on the silver platter at the center of the table. He is not important because he does not fit the narrative. Greg Laurie and Charisma News are not going to stop. They will continue to repeat the big lie until we bend to the narrative. Stop bending.
