Strange. Is God the author of confusion? The GOP took control of the house in 2022. It took 15 votes to elect the first speaker, Kevin McCarthy and that was only after he lowered the threshold to remove him to a singular objector in the House. Next up was Patrick McHenry, but no one really wanted him. Next up was Steve Scalise but he dropped out hours after being chosen because he knew he did not have the votes. Then the choice was insurrectionist Jim Jordan, who also could not secure the votes and dropped out. Finally, with seemingly no where else to turn, they turned to Mike Johnson. That is hardly being raised up by God. The group by the way, is no more unified than when McCarthy was elected. So no, it is not possible that we knew this was coming as no one even heard of Mike Johnson until they simply ran out of warm bodies to elect.
"In September, Kent Christmas gave a prophecy about a shaking that God would bring through the end of the year in Congress. Part of this shake-up would include a "Spirit-filled, Holy Ghost, tongue-talking preacher to open Congress," and that God would "confuse the so-called experts." Not only has Johnson been criticized for his own faith, but because of the support and praise that other Christians have offered up, including Garlow. NPR criticized Dutch Sheets for his approval of Johnson's election, and Rolling Stone for best-selling author Jonathan Cahn's involvement with the National Gathering for Prayer and Repentance. While only time will continue to tell if Johnson is the man from Christmas' prophetic word, there is one thing that is certain: the experts in the media field have been confused, and the name of Jesus is being glorified publicly in the governmental sphere that no one saw coming." - Charisma News
Really. Kent Christmas who prophesied that Trump would be reelected and after he lost by seven million votes doubled down and said that he really was the president in the eyes of God. As if the Creator of the entire universe was thwarted by mere mortals in a political process. Dutch Sheets and Jonathan Con are just more of the same. Hardcore dominionists who falsely believe America is in covenant with God and are trying to create a theocracy in this country. Not for Jesus, but for the consolidation of their power. Beloved saying the name Jesus does not glorify Him. Anyone can say His name. What these men do is bring reproach to His name. The lost see the blatant hypocrisy and it drives them further from Christ. Read the key verse carefully. There are only two choices. We are either gathering people to Christ or scattering them away from Him. The NAR dominionist heresy scatters people away. It drives them away from the Savior. God did not instruct us to establish a theocracy. The media are not the ones confused here. Charisma News, Mike Johnson, and his NAR cohorts are. Mark and avoid beloved.
