"But that doesn't mean He (God) didn't save Trump's life, and perhaps, because of this intervention, Trump will be a changed man for the good of America, resulting in blessing for millions of people. How can we say this will not happen? Could it be that, fresh off his seemingly miraculous escape from death this past Saturday, Trump could become that man? Is it possible?
Someone apparently had such animosity toward Trump that he attempted to murder him. The former president came within an inch of losing his life, only to stand up courageously and defiantly, fist raised, in what has already become an iconic moment in American history.
Perhaps Donald Trump could be one of the greatest leaders in our nation's history, remembered with awe and respect by Democrats and Republicans alike. May it be so! Let us pray as never before for God's best for him and for our nation. God is able!" - Dr. Michael Brown
Talk about using unequal weights! No mention of grieving over Trump as someone Christ died for. No direct inference of him being unsaved at all! Instead, the speculation is that now he will be a changed man resulting in blessing millions of people. He says his boy was courageous, defiant, and iconic. Now the speculation is he can be one of the greatest leaders in our entire history! You know, Washington, Lincoln, Kennedy, Trump. C'mon. Instead of using equal weights and praying for Trump's salvation the asked prayer was for his NAR dreams. For his idol, nothing but effusive praise. For Biden? Lord he is our enemy but I guess I have to pray for him, so please save him. Let us not also lose sight that Joe Biden is a lifelong Catholic, who only had to remarry because his first wife died in a horrible car accident. When asked about his faith and abortion, he replied that in his life, he is pro-life in accordance with the church but his job as a secular leader is not to force his beliefs on other people. I understand people can debate that position but at least he is consistent. Unlike Trump who spent his whole life as virulently pro-choice until he joined the Republican Party. Let's be fair. Who is more likely to have actually paid for an abortion in their life? So, Biden is automatically a hell bound reprobate but the thrice married, thrice unfaithful, sleeping with a porn star, six bankruptcies, convicted of rape, defamation and now 34 other felonies is an iconic, courageous dude who could be one of the greatest leaders in history. THAT is using unequal weights.
Brown then launches into how some people reacted negatively, refusing to even pray for Biden and Brown thinks he is defending him by unfavorably comparing him to Nero and declaring that he is sure Biden would not castrate a boy and call for Christians to be set on fire. Well, thanks for clarifying that Doc. He then uses the key verses to try and justify this nonsense. Yes, the verse does express we ought to pray for our leaders but the context is so we can live peaceful and holy lives. It says nothing of humiliating the person publicly while ignoring far worse offenses with people you directly support. Brown actually uses the example of the Son of Sam, to say, hey Biden could get saved! Gee, I wonder why this prayer is so disingenuous. The next great hypocrisy here is Brown laments that he hates to see someone lose their cognitive abilities. Now, Biden's performance at the debate was bad but confusing the names of people is hardly losing your cognitive abilities. If you confused who they actually were, that would be more indicative. The hypocrisy however is in only seeing the guy you hate in that light when the guy you are telling Christians to vote for tells stories about sharks and electrocution, has insisted that he ran against President Obama, and has confused Nancy Pelosi for Nikki Haley, just to name a few off the top of my head. After the debate, Brown declared that Joe Biden was unfit for office but never mentioned the 30+ lies told by his "Christian choice" candidate in the same debate. Yet another example of uneven weights. Brown closes with a "prayer" he wants everyone to join him in:
"Heavenly Father, we lift our voices to you on behalf of President Biden, asking You to reveal Yourself to Him afresh, to show him the depth of his sins in Your sight"while we make no excuses for our own sins"and to point him to the cross. To the extent that his Catholic faith was ever real in his life, help him to understand how he has betrayed his values on many fronts, from the meaning of marriage to the sanctity of life in the womb. And whatever else he has done, be it in public or in private, bring the weight of conviction on him until he pleads for mercy and grace. Help him to humble himself before You! May he not trust in his own works. May he not trust in church tradition. May he not trust in the approval of his friends and family. May he recognize instead that he stands naked and guilty in Your sight, and in that light, may he receive an overwhelming revelation of Your love, Your kindness, Your mercy, Your compassion and the power of the blood of the cross. As You saved us and washed our slates clean, do the same for President Biden. May he have a glorious conversion experience in the days ahead, and may we have the joy of hearing him proclaim his new life in You. We pray this in Jesus' name." - Dr. Michael Brown
Show him the depths of his sins. Once again, the focus being that Brown has concluded Biden is hell bound while the far more egregious sins of his political choice are never addressed. Then he essentially mocks his Catholic faith. If you doubt that realize that where it says, "his catholic faith" he inserted a hyperlink to a different Charisma News article entitled: "Joe Biden Is No More Catholic Than Is Lucifer,' Says American Life League." May he plead for mercy and grace while the prayer for the grabber of women's genitalia is just "God's best for him." For Biden it is may he stand there naked and guilty before you and Brown even takes a jab at his family and friends in this bogus prayer. For Trump? Hey, he could be the next Lincoln! Unequal weights at their finest.
Look, I get the argument that Brown is making that he may doubt Joe's salvation, but the entire merit of that argument is based upon NAR politics and not biblical understanding. Brown makes this judgment because Biden has never been pro-life. He has never believed that it is the role of government to turn this country into a theocracy and you know what? He is right about that. The stupidity of this unbiblical argument is that Biden is now guilty for sins of women who choose to get an abortion because he refused to do what? Appoint judges? Do you know that since Roe was overturned the abortion rate has increased? So, when your heart is so corrupted because of politics you can consign someone to hell for sins other people may commit while exalting a man who despite his efforts, actually increased abortions. Only in the twisted thinking of the NAR can someone stand before Christ and even though they may have had saving, practicing faith in Christ, be sent to hell because they did not appoint Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, another man who was credibly accused of sexual assault. This is why we should not be in the business of conferring righteousness onto a political party beloved and deciding who is going to hell. As for Dr. Brown it certainly appears as if his subterfuge of unequal weights is more hypocritical projection and this faux call for prayer is exposed as being truly unbalanced.
