"Brown also says that there are those who have humbly repented for missing the mark when they earnestly felt they had heard from the Lord. This should act as a reminder for the body of Christ not to immediately disqualify someone from the prophetic because they made a mistake.
"We've all made mistakes. If you minister long enough, you will. We're not out to kill each other and throw each other under then bus," says Brown. "We don't have the view that some have that you stone them and disqualify them for life." When it comes to the prophetic, we must weight words spoken with Scripture, and trust the Lord to reveal His correct timing for every word that is from Him. We must also continue to use discernment to know if something is from Him or not." - Charisma News
Missing the mark? What the hell is he babbling about? Missing the mark means they lied about what God had said! That is not "missing the mark!" What is this nonsense about "earnestly hearing from the Lord?" Does God speak or not? The answer is to these individuals - no! That is the entire point. I might add, how does he know anyone humbly repented? Because they said so? What does humble repentance mean? Did they admit they lied or allowed themselves to be deceived? Wouldn't repentance mean turning from the sin? Wouldn't it mean adhering to scripture that says they are disqualified? Perhaps the obscenest statement is Brown saying that because some of these liars claim to have repented that we should not disqualify them? Huh? We are not disqualifying anyone Dr. Brown. God is disqualifying them because of their lies. They claimed to have heard from the creator of the entire universe and they did not just "make a mistake." They lied. Yes, we all make mistakes but claiming to tell the church what sayeth the Lord is pretty serious business. If a preacher makes a mistake, they can admit it and move on but someone claiming to have heard directly from God who did not? That is not an "oopsie." They threw themselves under the bus! We had nothing to do with it! No one is saying to stone them to death Dr. Brown. That is such a transparent attempt at hyperbolism. Every word is not from God, as these people brilliantly displayed in 2020. Let me cut through the piety haze Brown is throwing up in the air here. We do not need discernment to determine if something was said by God or not. We just need to obey the key scriptures. Did it come to pass?
The agenda here was quite clear. The NAR is desperately trying to use the very odd situation where Trump was elected, lost and then reelected to pretend that all of their exposed false prophets were really ok back in 2020. That maybe they just saw 2024 and for some reason God was not clear enough. They should all be given a mulligan. Brown never explains why the God that sees all time, never mentioned to any of them this odd win-lose-win thing that would have proved God's existence and the prophetic bonafides of the man making that prediction. They did not make a mistake beloved. They lied. Every single one of them. Whether they were consciously lying to us or lying to themselves - it matters not. The bible says that many false teachers in these end times will go one deceiving and they themselves being deceived. That is bad enough but to have the NAR gatekeeper in Dr. Brown trying to muddy the waters and just making this a debate about, hey we all make mistakes, is beyond disgusting. We all do not pretend that God has spoken to us, declare it, and stand dumbfounded when we are wrong in such spectacular fashion. In fact, most of do not do anything remotely like that. Do you know who did? The 2020 band of false prophets that Dr. Michael Brown is trying to rehabilitate and defend. You marked and avoided them in 2020, do not let this NAR caretaker try and rewrite history now.
