What happened there is they saw an ongoing economic and political crisis in neighboring Venezuela lead to an influx of around 2.5 million refugees seeking sanctuary in Colombia. At the same time, almost a million Colombians who had emigrated to Venezuela returned home, putting a huge strain on food supplies and local health services. In response, USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance prioritized the provision of emergency food assistance, including cash transfers for food, food vouchers redeemable in local markets, and hot meals. Not operas. Well, let me add that they used to provide these life saving services. They no longer do because our faux-Christian president has dismantled USAID by pretending it was funding trans-comic books instead of telling the truth about the humanitarian aid it was providing. Even if true, which they were not, we are talking $77,000 in a 40-billion-dollar budget. That 40-billion-dollar budget is less than one percent of the national budget. They are NOT solving spending problems beloved. They are killing people in Jesus' name and the church is cheering them on. The rest of this fear mongering is all based in lies and distortions. Like claiming if Harris won, she would align with Iran and Hamas. How absurd. Of course, we would not have had the plan to ethically cleanse two million Palestinians and turn the Gaza strip into a Trump casino.
