Right. Because we all remember when Isaiah warned the people of the impending mermaid invasion or when the Apostle Paul served sneaky squid scampi to Timothy before sending him to Ephesus. Oh wait, those things never happened. Do you know why? Because there is no "mermaid spirit" you idiot. The thorn in the Apostle Paul's flesh was named Ariel. In fact, the concept of mermaids originated in Syria, a thousand years before Christ through a false goddess named Atargatis, who ruled the seas. So, Greg Locke cannot help himself to worship false gods even when lying about mermaid dreams. I think maybe Greg read Jennifer LeClaire's enlightening book on marine demons. That is a serious refence by the way. Who cares if people who are practicing in the occult believe in mermaids? Since when do we abandon the bible because some people who think they are witches believe in mermaids? I cannot believe I am even writing this right now. By the way, you should not go to Starbucks because it takes five Italian words to order a coffee, not because they chose a mythical creature as their logo. I also just love that another preacher supposedly disclosed that a mermaid spirit tried to destroy his marriage. Let me translate the gobbledygook dialect here. His friend cheated on his wife and his excuse is that he was lured by the siren's call. Something Greg Locke fully understands as he is now married to the mermaid who wrecked his actual marriage.

"My wife and I decided to go on a dinner date that same night (Friday) since I'd be flying early this morning to DC. I'm on that flight now. We started driving and I said, "Babe, I need to tell you about this crazy demonic dream I had last night". I explained it and she said, "Wow, that's crazy. I was just studying the Marine Kingdom and how it affects people spiritually. Warlocks use those demons as monitoring spirits and cause curses and problems for people they send them to". (Hope you're still with me. If you can't handle this type of talk, you've got some real growing to do and your Pastor needs to start preaching the actual Bible)." - Greg Locke

Wow, this is crazy, I agree! It sounds like when Greg was done with LeClaire's book he passed it on to his wife! The stupidity deepens now. So, warlocks are the ones who are commissioning the mermaids to monitor people and curse them? Even if in some fringe section of reality this was remotely true, why would they be sending them to monitor one lunatic preacher from Tennessee? Greg Locke already works for the devil! There is nothing left to monitor! Are the warlocks concerned that he has not had enough book burnings this year? Wait a minute. Recently someone allegedly shot up Greg's house - I bet that was a curse cause by a mermaid spirit, assigned by a warlock, dressed up as a vampire with a werewolf spirit, carrying a Frankenstein mantle, orchestrated by the Creature from the Black Lagoon. It is not that we cannot handle this type of talk Greg. I hear it all the time on Nickelodeon or the Sci-Fi Channel. Maybe folks in Tennessee got an early start on their trick or treating. I just love the notion that Greg Locke is saying that if you do not believe in mermaids and warlocks and vampires, oh my - YOU need to grow. Let me be perfectly clear - this is NOWHERE in the bible! If your pastor so much as references this other than to mock it openly, you should run out of that church as if the Wicked Witch of the East was chasing you screaming, she is going to send a mermaid after your little dog too! Back to the delusion.

'After that discussion, she randomly suggested a restaurant we rarely go to. We pulled in, sat down and-- ..BAM!!! I felt an evil presence. I sat in silence for a few minutes. Of all the places we could go, we chose this one. A lady took our order but she was not the same person that brought our food. When the food was placed before us, I looked at my wife and said "I'm gonna tell you something crazy, but hear me out". An overwhelming sensation came over me. The hair on my neck stood up and tears filled my eyes. I had a moment of strange sadness and fear that struck me without warning. My wife could see it on my face. I was numb. I said to her, "You see that girl that brought us our food? That's her 1,000%. That's the mermaid I caught in the river that attacked me. There's no mistaking it. It's her!!"' - Greg Locke

Just when we thought the crazy ship had landed - we go right back to sea. First of all, it is not uncommon that a different person than your waitress beings you the food you ordered. This not indicative of anything except how restaurants are staffed. Notice by the way that Greg admits that they have gone to this restaurant before and Mt. Juliet Tennessee has les than 40,000 residents. Even if somehow, he really did have this dream, I would wager that it is far more likely that he had seen the waitress before, which is why her face was superimposed on the little mermaid in the dream and why he may have subconsciously selected that restaurant even though they did not regularly go there. That is far more believable than a warlock dispatched a mermaid into a dream and then had that mermaid magically serve them dinner at a restaurant. By the way, why would this imaginary warlock do this in the first place! But hey, he was numb, with piloerection (hairs standing straight) and was crying - which I believe are also signs of dropping acid. Again, just spit-balling.

"The place was packed but she kept walking past us. She even came outside as we went to our car. We didn't eat much. It was an obvious and awkward encounter. I'm telling you witchcraft is real. Spirits that monitor your behavior are a reality. I don't know all that the encounter was showing me but I do know it was a supernatural encounter and important moment. You better armor up Saints! The Kingdom of Darkness is on the prowl and only the Biblically wise will remain victorious. You better get in the secret place. Things are about to get real. The veil between the natural realm and the supernatural realm is getting thinner by the day. The wise will heed the warnings. The foolish will criticize and deny. Choose wisely. Demons don't stop simply because you deny them and witchcraft rapidly grows in secrecy and ignorance." - Greg Locke

Confirmation bias is when we read into things motives the align with the nonsense we might believe. We are confirming our bias. So, assuming Locke really had this dream, he reads into an employee at a restaurant walking by them as confirming she is secretly a mermaid on assignment to curse him through his plate of fettuccini alfredo. Maybe if he did not order that side dish of fried mermaid tails, all of this could have been avoided. Beloved, the only spirit monitoring your behavior is the Holy Spirit. Even if there is a sliver of reality here, greater is He that is in us than he that is in this world. The problem for Greg Locke of course is he does not have the indwelt Holy Spirit to convict him of spreading this garbage. Notice by the way the sheer lunacy of stories like this. He openly admits that he has no idea why any of this happened but hey it was supernatural and important? What? Why? I might add here that if I felt there was a little mermaid spirit who was secretly a vampire, trying to kill me, assigned by a warlock, I do not think I would eat the corn fritters she just brought me! All you need to know is even after all of these important stupidnatural happenings, they still ate some of the food! Also, perhaps the mermaid vampire waitress wanted to go out for a smoke, or maybe she recognized Tennessee's most famous book burning false teacher.

The only fools here are Greg Locke and those who blindly follow this baloney. That is not criticism - it is observation. Beloved, the supernatural is of course real but did you notice what was not in this dream or absurd story? Jesus. Not one mention of His gospel. All of the attention is on the lying false teacher with an occasional mention of his adulteress wife. The real star however was the waitress. Sorry, the mermaid vampire waitress. Did you notice what else was missing? The point. Why did he have this dream? Was God warning him and if so, why did he eat the food? Why didn't he rebuke the mermaid in Jesus' name and the explain to the arresting officer about how important it was. Or he could have ordered extra garlic for his pasta and see if she could bring it, you know, considering she is a vampire. The reality according to the key verses reveals all Greg Locke ordered that night was a dishful of foolishness because that is what he loves to feast on. Somewhere the sneaky squid is laughing"
