The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. - 2Thessalonians 2: 9-12 (ESV)
Darren Wilson is back to peddle the second half of footage he filmed across the world pretending to be led by the Holy Spirit. In fairness, he may just be deceived and cannot tell the difference between the demonic and the holy. Such was the cause of his first movie in this genre, Holy Ghost. This movie was nothing short of a Satan filled joyride. Using psychic tricks Wilson filmed some of his cast selling false signs and lying wonders to the people of Utah. The second portion was supposedly about two members of the heavy metal band Korn and how they allegedly were saved. In this segment Wilson had "evangelist" Todd White perform the "one leg is shorter than the other" scam on would be concert goers. Wilson was critical of anyone who said anything about his heresy filled production claiming that people had a hard time accepting the someone like Brian "Head" Welch could be saved. This is absurd of course. It would be just as great if Justin Bieber would leave Hillsong and actually get saved. The problem is that from all indications, Welch is unsaved still. Once the hype of the movie wore down, he went back to Korn and recorded what he said was his darkest album ever with angelic lyrics such as this from the ballad, "Freak on a Leash:
Something takes a part of me
You and I were meant to be
A cheap f*** for me to lay
Something takes a part of me
I hope you get the point. The teaching Wilson follows is out of Redding California and Bethel Church. Bill Johnson is the lead pastor and one of the biggest heretics on the planet. What he sells is experiential Christianity. Experience over doctrine. So he attributes how you feel to the Holy Spirit while anyone who wants to point to the Bible is marked as "religious." It is a diabolical scheme of Satan to replace the inerrant Word of God with our lying, deceptive heart. Johnson claims glory clouds, gold dust and angel feathers supernaturally appears when he is around. He actually operates a school of the supernatural where he teaches people the gifts of the Spirit besides the fact that Bible says he cannot do any such thing. His worship outfit is known as Jesus Culture and are internationally famous. The problem is they are just as heretical. The lead worship leader offers a personal testimony where Jesus whisks her away to the throne room where she meets the Father face to face, despite the Bible saying she would die if it were so. Who needs to Bible though when you got such groovy experiences like dancing with God? You see beloved, I do not doubt Kim-Walker Smith's demonic testimony. I am sure she believes what happened really happened but all that means is she cannot tell the difference between angels and demons:
And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds. - 2Corinthians 11: 14-15 (ESV)
Which brings us to the key verses for today. A sobering reminder to Christians everywhere that this is no game we are engaged in. Next month Darren Wilson's "Holy Ghost Reborn" will be released and pimped through churches that specialize in the false signs and lying wonders movement. Christians should have nothing to do with it. It is not just a harmless little fun beloved. We are living in the end times the key verses speak of. Satan is ratcheting up his offensive. The deception he is unleashing is wicked and God eventually will turn us over to what is false. If we want to pursue delusion with such fervor, God will eventually acquiesce. This movie is not cool. It is not hip. It is demonic. There is a reason why God gave us His Word and it is not so we could so casually toss it aside to go with our gut. The Holy Spirit does not operate the way Wilson portrays. The Bible says the Spirit will lead us into all truth - that means the truth contained within the written Word! Let me show you how deceptive these people are. They always quote this verse to explain why they pursue this holy ghost power:
and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, - 1Corinthians 2: 4 (ESV)
They twist up the Bible to make this verse support their brand of experiential faith based upon goose bumps and liver shivers. The problem is they have ripped this poor verse horribly out of context:
And I, when I came to you, brothers, did not come proclaiming to you the testimony[of God with lofty speech or wisdom. For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness and in fear and much trembling, and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. - 1Corinthians 2: 1-5 (ESV)
What a blatant lies to use the fourth verse like that. What is "Jesus Christ and Him crucified" that Paul is referring to here? That's right. It's the Gospel. The point Paul is making is that the true demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit is to witness as to Christ and Christ is His Word. What Darren Wilson and company are selling is the opposite of what Paul is teaching here. All of the power rests on man. What he experiences. What he feels. We ought not be surprised:
Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us.For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things. But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself. - Philippians 3: 17-21 (ESV)
Darren Wilson, Holy Ghost Reborn, Bethel Church, Bill Johnson, Jesus Culture. It is time for real Christians to stop dabbling in the demonic. Stop dancing with the devil. Their god is their belly. They glory in their shame; even making movies to brag to the world about their shame. Our citizenship however is in heaven. Let us never forget that as the days grow closer to the end. If we love the delusion more than the God we claim to serve then eventually He will send us a strong delusion so that we might believe what is false and as such be lost. Let it never be so. In Jesus name.
