Prophecy continues to be one of the most abused concepts in the apostate church today. What passes for prophecy today is nothing more than clairvoyance and clickbait cobbled together to try and apply a patina of piety to otherwise obvious charlatans. Lip service is paid to Jesus but these targeted guesses never bring any true glory to God as they are designed to bring glory to the false prophet to increase their stature within the Charismaniacal Industrial Complex. For example, we saw this week Charisma News promote a 2023 false prophecy from the disgraced false prophet Chris Reed regarding the death of former president Jimmy Carter. Yes, the 100-year-old Jimmy Carter. Wow. Real groundbreaking prophecy there Chris. The above link is to the latest promotion from disgraced fugitive from church discipline and false teacher Mark Driscoll. These are ten "prophetic predictions" for 2025. This is what I mean by clairvoyance. Prophecy is not fortune telling. Do not lose sight of the fact as we read this, that Driscoll is essentially saying God showed him or told him this. That the creator of the entire universe had these ten things He wanted the church to know and for some reason is choosing a man who stole $200,000 from the tithes of his former church to cheat the NY Times Best Seller list, to deliver this message. This premise is entirely absurd on its face, as is the general message Driscoll is delivering.

I also want us to realize that this is the continuing rebranding Mark Driscoll has been undertaking since packing his family up and leaving in the dead of night from the impending church discipline at Mars Hill Church is Seattle. At Mars Hill, Driscoll was the primary bad boy of Pentecostalism. He loved to wear Mickey Mouse tee shirts while preaching to show his brash unconventionality as he preached unabashedly about sexual topics. Those who opposed him were openly vilified and he bragged once about using the Mars Hill bus to run over those who would disagree with his vision, even the very sheep that were entrusted to him. He referred to them as a pile of dead bodies under the Mars Hill Bus he was driving. He treated so many people badly and unchristlike that his own handpicked board was set to discipline him and the Acts 29 group he founded had already thrown him out. When he reemerged after having his church image rehabilitated by the likes of Robert Morris, he began to transform his preacher-image into the America-first Trumper that he saw was selling so well in the Charismaniacal church. Make no mistake beloved. This is a grift, pure and simple. He recently wrote a ridiculous book claiming to know how Jesus would vote, got into a spitting match with local officials, violating Romans 13, and then sold Vote for Jesus lawn signs to his sheep. So, unsurprisingly, these ten bogus prophecy predictions are all centered around the same garbage cultural arguments the NAR church loves luring the sheep into. They turn the lost into the enemies of the church instead of preaching the gospel to them because hate will always sell better than repentance. So let us reason once again beloved and happy new year.

'How should the church prepare for 2025? In a recent message, Pastor Mark Driscoll gave his 10 prophetic predictions about what he believes the church will encounter in 2025. "I believe that we have an opportunity as God's people to pay attention to what is happening in the culture so that we can be best prepared for what God intends for His people, the church, in 2025," says Driscoll."

1. Men are re-emerging as leaders for the future. - Driscoll points out that this year's election was determined greatly by the number of men who showed up to voice their opinion about the kind of society they want to live in. Typically, it is the suburban women who make the difference in the election, but this year, Driscoll says, it was the male voter who stepped up to the plate.

"This is a historic opportunity, and we need to hear what the Spirit of God is saying to the churches," Driscoll says. "And one thing that the Holy Spirit is saying is, 'It's time to make men a priority. It's time for the church to value men again.' And that what we have seen historically is that evangelicalism has become increasingly soft, weak, woke, compromised, and it is time for strong men to enter into the pulpit and enter into the ministry and lead with a sense of actual testosterone-driven, Elijah-like, Paul-like, Jeremiah-like prophetic courage.' - Charisma News

Driscoll has always been a testosterone driven false teacher. He infamously said in 2006 that Ted Haggard's wife was to blame for the 20-year homosexual affair Haggard had while doing crystal meth because she "let herself go." That is just one example of many, so it is not new to see him try and push pro-man talking points but this one is easily debunked. The split in the 2024 election was 53% women and 47% men. In 2020 it was 52% women and 48% men, so there was not some massive shift demographically. What Driscoll does, as most ideologues, is present his narrative and try to shoehorn statistics into it but even the stats do not back him up here. The church does not have an issue valuing men. This entire talking point is moronic. The NAR is made up primarily of "strong male leaders' in the pulpit. Those are also the same ones that typically then fall as being abusive or pedophiles. See Mike Bickle, Ravi Zacharias, Robert Morris, or recently, Dr. Michael Brown. Preaching some hyper-Calvinistic, machismo holiness has proven over time to be a smoke screen for the lifestyles that do not align with the gospel. Instead of focusing on man, we should be focused on God. Elijah was testosterone driven? He begged for God to kill him rather than face Queen Jezebel! Wasn't Jeremiah known as the weeping prophet? Paul said of these I am the least, not the toughest or most testosterone driven. The Holy Spirit is saying no such thing. Everyone is a priority to God.

'2. Young men are not interested in progressive ideology and are becoming increasingly interested in a traditional family lifestyle. - Driscoll points out that as young men are increasingly becoming more conservative and young women are becoming more liberal, we are seeing a fracturing in society. "So, what does this provide for the church? Well, hear what the Spirit of God is saying to the church; an entire generation of young men is saying, 'I want to be a man who marries a woman and works a job and has a family"' the only hope is the church of Jesus Christ. This entire beginning and stirring of a young generation of men who are aspiring to conservative values like faith and family and freedom and fatherhood, the church of Jesus Christ is the only hope," says Driscoll. "If you are a leader in a church or the pastor of a church"you need to refocus all of your energy and attention toward reaching young men, toward activating young men, toward discipling young men."' - Charisma News
