On January 6, 2021, a mob of unhinged insurrectionists stormed the US Capitol in an attempt to stop the certification of the election where their guy lost by seven million votes. Their lunatic actions that day has led to the deaths of five police officers. They wanted to hang the Vice President and kill many other members of Congress. Part of the story that never gets told is that a great many of them were there as Christians. When they got to the Well of the Senate, they stopped to pray. To Jesus Christ. This after tasing police officers and beating them with American flags. This after crushing cops in door wells and defecating in the halls of Congress. They stopped to pray. Sincere prayer I might add. Hands raised like you would see at any Charismaniacal church on Sunday. Why? Why would people who claim to follow the Prince of Peace behave in such an unchristian manner and then pray as if God would be pleased? Certainly some blame falls to the twice impeached former president but he is just a politician. Or is he?
I say this as a backdrop because Donald Trump was sold to the apostate church as so much more than a politician. He was the reincarnation of King Cyrus. He was anointed with a Deborah mantle according to many. An Elijah spirit he was claimed to possess. In 2016 they tried to pass him off as a baby Christian but in 2020? He was as good as God to many. These folks were also pumped up by those claiming to be leaders in the church. They were riled up to anger. They were told they were warriors. They were told that they were foot soldiers in the Lord's army taking the fight to the dev"I mean the Democratic Party. When you mix carnal politics with biblical authority you can sell the notion that the devil is not really the enemy - the Democratic party is. Or your local representative. Or the guy who counts the ballots for your district. One of the so-called leaders fueling the hate is Mario Murillo and he is doing the same thing to this date. Above is the latest from Murillo. They are too loud for most. They pray longer and deeper than what is "acceptable" in respectable circles. They do their duty and suffer through meaningless concerts, seminars and "Christian events." But their hearts are not in it. Many Christians don't want to talk about spiritual warfare because they hate confrontation. These "others" know we are at war with principalities and powers of evil. These "abnormals" are secret weapons"set apart for that perfect moment when God will unleash them on an unsuspecting world. Professional church builders fear them because they scare away the "right people." Carnal believers despise them because they are a constant reminder of compromise. In order to salve their conscience, those who oppose this remnant call them "abnormal." But they are not abnormal. They are very normal. We have been subnormal for so long that normal looks abnormal. Maybe you are one of those Jesus-followers who loves just a little too much"who wants more than everyone thinks is right. Maybe they roll their eyes when you talk about things"awesome things you believe God can still do in this dark and evil time. Remember: to some Christians, you are a fanatic.

Well, aren't you special? Imagine the effect this might have on someone mentally unstable or just taught poorly in church. You just want to understand authority so you can be broken and have the resurrection life. You have your eyes wide open while everyone is sleepwalking through this world. You are more spiritual - just look at the lengths and depths of your prayers (despite the key verses speaking against such prayers)! You welcome the confrontation because after all you are at war against principalities and powers of great evil. God needs your help! He has set you aside as a secret weapon! The Lord is going to unleash you upon an unsuspecting world! Maybe even at the US Capitol! People are afraid of you! You are persecuted by being bullied with accusations of fanaticism and being abnormal but you know it's just that you love Jesus more than they do. You are more committed to Him than they are! Wow.
Mario Murillo is a dangerous person filling the heads of people who may not be tethered to reality with all sorts of braggadocious victimhood with plenty of direction for their anger. In a recent sermon he said that anyone who votes Democratic is going to hell. Did you get that? Do you understand how he is grooming them? He is telling them that these people are no longer your brother and sister in Christ! They are the enemy! They are coming after your freedoms! They are coming after your children! They like calling you names! But you're going to show them, aren't you?
