Kris Vallotton and The Correct Argument Against False Apostles and Prophets

And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love. - Ephesians 4:11-16 (ESV)

Kris Vallotton is the resident false teacher of Bethel Church in Redding California, under the guidance of one of the planet's worst heretics, Bill Johnson. Most false NAR churches specialize in one or two main heresies, but Bethel employs nearly all of them into their theology. False signs and lying wonders? You betchya, as Johnson created the fake glory cloud phenomena by pumping smoke through his ventilation system and brags about how angel feathers just randomly start falling around him because he is just so darn spiritual. Dominionism, word faith and prosperity? Check, check and HUGE check. Vallotton created the "poverty mindset" heresy that blames poor people for their own poverty. He is a grifter extraordinaire. We have documented how he has generated hundreds of thousands of dollars time and again with horrifically unbiblical conferences and teachings. He will just create out of whole cloth useless but spiritual sounding nonsense like "solutionaries" and then charge you thousands of dollars to help you become one. Bethel also is one of the primary proponents of divine healing, which usurps the sovereignty of God by declaring He must always heal you. So, Johnson and now I believe Vallotton also, wears prescription eyeglasses even though they teach that God is required to always heal us. Johnson's wife Beni, tragically passed away from cancer but no explanation how that is even possible within their own teaching paradigm. Bethel has been linked to teaching grave sucking, where people spend time loitering around the crypts of long dead teachers and heretics trying to soak up some "residual anointing," I kid you not. They have a "dead raising team" the credits themselves with 10-15 resurrections without a shred of proof. Their resident false prophet, Shawn Bolz, has been exposed as using social media to fake words of knowledge. They operate a school of the stupidnatural, where for thousands of dollars they pretend they can teach you how to manifest the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Bethel, and Vallotton in particular, is spiritually vile and reprehensible. Believe me when I say, I am not even scratching the surface here.

That said, Kris took to social media the other day to whine about people calling them out for being so blatantly false, especially in the area of apostleship and the prophetic. You see, Bill Johnson fancies himself an apostle. Kris Vallotton fancies himself a prophet. They monetize these fake titles they gave themselves to market their wares as being authoritative. Make no mistake beloved. That is what this is all about - the grift. They simply make more money the more they can dupe their followers into thinking they are somehow on par with Paul or Jeremiah. So, Kris wrote a few words yesterday about this and I just relish the opportunity to analyze when rank heretics try to leverage a book they clearly do not understand in the bible. It provides an excellent learning opportunity to expose their butchering of scripture. So, let us reason once more together through this short Facebook rant, from Mr. Poverty Mindset himself, Kris Vallotton.

"Let me offer some insight for those who are teaching that Apostles and Prophets no longer exist in the 21st century. Here is one of the verses that tell us how long the 5-fold leaders were given. "He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; UNTIL we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ."

Ephesians 4:11-13 It's interesting that nobody argues that we no longer need Evangelist, Pastors and Teachers although they are named together. Furthermore, there is one named Evangelist in the entire New Testament. No named pastors, 22 named apostles, and several named prophets. Yet some, are convinced that the Apostles and Prophets are no longer necessary." - Kris Vallotton

Allow me Kris to explain to you what is actually going on. It is seemingly like what happened when C. Peter Wagner rolled out the New Apostolic Reformation, which was not new, not apostolic and did not actually reform anything. Basically, Wagner decided that God was putting the band back together by re-forming the apostles, and oops, he was one of them! How did that happen! This event is such a fantastic microcosm of the problem with modern "apostles" in that it they are not apostles at all. They are just grifters who named themselves "apostle." Now, I am sure people like Bill Johnson got someone else to pretend to name him an apostle but that is just how the network of false apostles and prophets work. They prop each other up and lend each other credibility. Let me give you some tangible examples. The lunatic Greg Locke has been named an apostle. How did this happen? Did God call him such? Was it in response to the fantastic book burnings he holds or how he threw caution to the wind by marrying his secretary after having an affair on his actual wife with her? No. His new adulteress wife contacted another grifter to surprise Greg for his birthday if I remember correctly. That grifter than presided over an "official" ceremony naming him - and her by default somehow, apostles. Did you get that? Tai Locke essentially named herself an apostle by asking a friend to name her husband one. Then you wonder why no one respects your silly self-assigned titles? The Lockes are hardly alone in this mendacity. Did you know someone named Jenny "Super-Grifter" Weaver an apostle? Was it because she created such a creative way to fleece her flock into millionaire status? What exactly did Jenny Weaver do after being released from prison that warranted being named a freaking apostle? Do you want to know why your premise is absurd? Let me give you another real-life example. In 2008 there was a big kerfuffle in Lakeland Florida where a former tattooed biker was pretending to be a healing evangelist. He was packing tens of thousands of people into tent meetings where he would literally kick little old ladies in the face with his steel toed boots and punch people in the stomach with stage four pancreatic cancer. He did this because he claimed the Holy Spirit told him to so he could "impart healing" to them. The super apostle Bill Johnson went to Lakeland to a ceremony to anoint Todd Bentley a prophet. They poured oil over his head and everything. Bill Johnson, I believe is the one that led them all in prayer. Soon after it was revealed that Bentley was cheating on his wife with his secretary. He then divorced his wife for her, just as Greg Locke would do years later. Maybe that's the secret sauce for these grifters? If you turn your secretary into an adulteress then you get oil poured all over you and are declared a prophet, or an apostle, or whatever. So, the issue that Kris cannot fathom is just because one liar swears another liar is an apostle, that does not make it so. Just because one heretic pours oil over the head of another heretic that does not make them a prophet. I provided the entire context from Ephesians as the key verses above because the part that testifies against Kris Vallotton is that these people have been given to us in order that we not be carried to and fro by every wave of false doctrine and human cunning. You know, by the likes of Kriss Vallotton.

You would never read the Bible by yourself without the commentary of some "scholar" and come to the conclusion that Apostles and Prophets passed away after the first century. The theologians that shout, "Today all we need is the Bible, we no longer need revelation," don't actually believe much of the revelation of the Bible! Jesus was the Word that became flesh, but powerless theologians turned it back into just words! The truth is, people tend to fear what they don't understand. Furthermore, people site cases of abuse, for example of the modern day office of apostles or prophets, as evidence that those offices have passed away. But building a new doctrine to solve a heart problem is a form of heresy. It's also ignores the abuse of apostles like Judas who betrayed Christ, and Peter who denied Him. The truth is we need the entire 5-fold ministry to properly equip the Body of Christ.

Uh-huh. We are just soooo afraid of Kris Vallotton and his poverty mindset as he fleeces the flock, right. Or maybe we are afraid of the bogus prophecy summit each summer where he bleeds even more money out of suckers that are duped into thinking Kris can teach them how to be a prophet. As if that is not a calling from God and the gifts are not given out by the spirit. By the way, I agree it is a spurious argument to dismiss the gifts because of the people like Kris, who abuse the gifts. The Judas comparison was unseemly enough but to drag poor Peter into this is obscene. Peter was not sleeping with his secretary and kicking people in the face. Peter was not teaching that God is required to always heal us. Peter did not invent a phony "core" like Jenny Weaver in order to generate millions of dollars in free revenue each year. Bethel Church is not preparing the body of Christ. Realize what is being taught here by Kris because it is at the heart of the Bethel heresy. Bill Johnson has always taught that scripture is not sufficient. That we need extra-biblical revelation. Why? Because that can be far more easily manipulated and controlled by pretending it is the Holy Spirit. Just consider the lunacy to believe that the Almighty God, who spoke everything into existence, sees all time, is omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent, somehow forgot something that He is now "revealing" to a man who has taught that following the bible is "small minded."
