Shane Idleman used to be considered a good bible preacher. Then COVID hit and he found himself enamored with the shift in the apostate church to fully embrace the elements of NAR dominionism. He reveled in it. He pitched his tent there and has become more rabid as the years have worn on. His entire brand now is this pro-Trump, faux-Christian, fake preacher model. For example, he had posted on Election Day a quote from Democratic Senator Jamie Raskin saying he would make sure that Trump never sets foot in the Oval Office. The problem? Jamie Raskin of course, never said this. It was a fake meme citing a fake quote for the sole purpose of trying swing some votes on Election Day. It took literally 30 seconds to debunk, so, I responded in the thread that he was bearing false witness and a sliver of credit to him for taking down the post. There was no apology however, so who knows how many of his 31,000 followers were fed the lie and never even noticed that he removed it or why. So, Shane is obviously giddy that his idol won the election. Now, he is on a bent to rewrite history and try and appeal to unity, after being such a divisive force in the church and politics. The above link is to a new "open letter" he claims is meant to woo the left into some kind of Kumbaya moment but it is wrapped in the same disinformation and arrogance he always traffics in. Let us reason together beloved responding not from the left, but from the truth, not allowing the gaslighting and lies to continue.

Scrolling through social media feeds, I find myself perplexed: What are all these people scared of? How is Trump a threat to democracy? Didn't Biden weaponize just about every department against Trump? What about controlling information from Facebook, X, Google, and most of the mainstream media outlets? I want you to understand Shane. Just because you have an opinion, cultivated by a right-wing media bubble, does not make it truthful. Joe Biden weaponized nothing. In fact, the way the government is set up now, he couldn't weaponize things like the DOJ, unlike Trump wants to do in his second term by making DOJ directly answerable to him alone. You think that's cool though because you think Trump is on your side. He is near 80 years old however and there is a never a guarantee the next guy will be on your side. The toothpaste is much harder to put back in the tube. So, this absurd talking point about weaponization revolves around the various crimes that Mr. Trump committed. That's right Shane, these are CRIMES. I know it is inconvenient to talk about but the guy you champion as God's choice is a convicted rapist. How exactly do you square that circle? Don't tell me - you use the "God can use anyone" deception. You see Shane, just because God can and does use everyone for His plans and His glory that does not mean He chose Trump. That same silly argument can be used for the other side as well. So, you have a convicted rapist who was also convicted of 34 other felonies by a jury of his peers. You remember our justice system, right Shane? So, how is this "weaponizing" anything? Oh, that's right, it isn't. It is just that as a Christian pastor, you think the man you idolize should not be held to the same standard of justice as the rest of us. Maybe you think that he should not have been charged with stealing national security secrets even though the government begged him to return the documents that he had strewn across his bathroom at Mar-a-Lago. Maybe you think this way because a judge that was in his pocket dismissed the case but you do realize we have sent people to jail for decades for stealing far less secret documents? You know that Shane, right? I assume you dismiss this by making inane comparisons to Biden also having documents. The difference is that when they were discovered, he returned them. It is completely reasonable the presidents, who are not the ones packing their boxes, could take with them things they should not. The issue is not returning them when asked and then obstructing justice to not return them. Maybe you think that Biden somehow influenced a state prosecutor in Georgia to file RICO charges, which is another absurdity. As if trying to get state officials to cheat the American people out of an election, is ok if it is your guy that benefits from the cheating. Real American. Real Christian.
Do you even realize how much damage you do for the cause of Christ Shane? Do you understand the key verse today that clearly teaches that we are either gathering people to Christ or scattering them away. Which do you fancy yourself involved in Shane? When you lie to people for politics, support someone who says he does not need to ask God for forgiveness for anything and then pretend that he is God's chosen, which side of the scattering gathering equation do you think you are on? Do you not realize that the world sees your dripping hypocrisy? There was no "controlling information" Shane and I have to think somewhere you know this. The only person who threatens free speech is your boy, who has threatened to take licenses away from broadcasting sources that are critical of him and jail journalists. Never forget by the way, that Trump secured two billion dollars for his son in law from the Saudis by looking the other way when the Crown Prince had an American journalist dismembered. Ahh freedom. Controlling information? Are you serious? Trump's new bestie, Elon Musk bought Twitter for the sole purpose of turning it into sanctioned propaganda. When Musk took over suddenly, I was following him without requesting such. His posts were always first in my feed and they were always Trump, Trump, Trump. When I unfollowed him, I suddenly was following Trump himself when Musk reinstated him. Trump's posts were always first in my feed. After unfollowing Trump, I just started getting all sorts of right-wing accounts forced in my thread. Do you think that is honest Shane? Or vaguely American? So, spare us your pearl clutching because for twelve hours the inane stories about Hunter Biden's laptop were suppressed. That dog don't hunt.
